Committee VII

In an era of bloody civil wars and raging political upheaval, the Early Roman Empire under the Julio-Claudio dynasty, mainly in the rule of Augustus, managed to expand Rome's borders in a scale unbeknownst to its people. However, despite the numerous feats of the ancient civilization, this conquests ultimately backfired as questions of mismanagement, overexpansion and corruption, partnered with various military losses to germanic tribes the empire sought - and managed - to reign over, led to the eventual fall of the impactful empire. Hence, in face of this scenario, delegates of the Roman Forum must gauge how to consolidate Rome's borders, through treaties, wars and many classic diplomatic methods, whilst avoiding previous mistakes.
